Members of the Council are summonsed to attend the above Meeting to transact the following business: -
1. Apologies for Absence
2. Declarations of Interests. To declare any ‘personal' or ‘personal and
prejudicial' interests relating to items on the agenda having regard to paragraphs 7 to 11 inclusive of Part 2 of the Code of Conduct for Members and having taken appropriate advice (where necessary) before the meeting. (Form available on request)
3. Public Question Time. A maximum period of 10 minutes to allow members of the public to ask questions or to make statements.
4. Minutes. To approve the minutes of the meeting held on 19th September 2006
5. Committee Minutes To accept the minutes of the following committee: -
(i) Amenities - 8th November 2006 - copy previously circulated
Amenities Committee - Recommendation at minute 39
(ii) Finance & General Purposes Committee - 14th November - copy to be circulated
6. Planning Applications. . Dealt with by the Planning Committee. ALL MEMBERS OF THE COUNCIL ARE MEMBERS OF THE PLANNING COMMITTEE. Chair of Planning - Councillor Mrs G A McCoyd.
To consider the following planning applications: -
06/02220/COU - 42 High Street - Change of use from existing health and fitness club to bar and restaurant.
06/02210/COU - 1 Broton Drive - Change of use to B2 General Industry, car repair workshop and MOT station.
7. Mayors Appointments and Announcements - report available on request
8. Budget and Precept 2007/8 - report available on request
9. Exclusion of Public and Press.
To give consideration to adopting the following resolution: - "That pursuant to the provisions of section 1(2)-of the Admission to Meetings Act 1960, in view of the next item to be conducted, the press and public to be excluded from the meeting.
