Members of the Council are requested to attend the above Meeting to transact the following business: -

1. Apologies for Absence

2. Declarations of Interests. To declare any ‘personal' or ‘personal and

prejudicial' interests relating to items on the agenda having regard to paragraphs 7 to 11 inclusive of Part 2 of the Code of Conduct for Members and having taken appropriate advice (where necessary) before the meeting.    (Form available on request)

3. Public Question Time. A maximum period of 10 minutes to allow members of the public to ask questions or to make statements, and for Councillors with ‘personal' or ‘personal and prejudicial' interests under paragraph 12(2) of the code of conduct for Members to make statements.

4. Minutes. To approve the minutes of the Council meeting held on 19th July 2007.

5. Committee Minutes To accept the minutes of the following committees:

(i) Finance & General Purposes Committee - 13th September 2007 - copy previously circulated.

6. Planning Applications. Dealt with by the Planning Committee. ALL MEMBERS OF THE COUNCIL ARE MEMBERS OF THE PLANNING COMMITTEE. Chair of Planning - Councillor T Middleton

There are no new plans to be discussed.

7. Mayors Appointments and Announcements - report available on request

8. To consider any referrals from the Amenities Committee

9. Resource Centre - update from Cllr J Pike

10. Development of the Children's Centre at Holy Trinity School - presentation by Carole Ware

11. Notes of Budget Working Group - report available on request

12. Exclusion of Public and Press.

To give consideration to adopting the following resolution: - "That pursuant to the provisions of section 1(2)-of the Admission to Meetings Act 1960, in view of the next item to be conducted, the press and public to be excluded from the meeting.
