Members of the Council are requested to attend the above Meeting to transact the following business: -
1. Apologies for Absence
2. Declarations of Interests. To declare any ‘personal' or ‘personal and prejudicial' interests relating to items on the agenda having regard to paragraphs 7 to 11 inclusive of Part 2 of the Code of Conduct for Members and having taken appropriate advice (where necessary) before the meeting. (Form available)
3. Public Question Time. A maximum period of 10 minutes to allow members of the public to ask questions or to make statements, and for Councillors with ‘personal' or ‘personal and prejudicial' interests under paragraph 12(2) of the code of conduct for Members to make statements.
4. Minutes. To approve the minutes of the Council meeting held on 18th November 2010
5. Committee Minutes. To accept the minutes of the following committees:
(i) Amenities Committee - 6th January 2011 - copy previously circulated.
(ii) Finance & General Purposes Committee - 11th January 2011 - copy to be circulated.
6. Planning Applications. Dealt with by the Planning Committee. ALL MEMBERS OF THE COUNCIL ARE MEMBERS OF THE PLANNING COMMITTEE. Chair of Planning - Councillor Mrs S Diver - report will be circulated at meeting if planning applications received.
7. Mayors Appointments and Announcements - report available
8. Hedingham Road Parking - report available
9. Proposals for celebrating the marriage of William Wales and Catherine Middleton - report to follow
10. Review of the structure for Council Business - verbal report
11. Proposed Committee Dates 2011/2012 - report available
12. Local Transport Plan - report available
13. Royal British Legion Poppy Party Weekend - report available
14. Exclusion of Public and Press.
To give consideration to adopting the following resolution: - "That pursuant to the provisions of section 1(2)-of the Admission to Meetings Act 1960, in view of the next item to be conducted, the press and public to be excluded from the meeting.
