Members of the Council are requested to attend the above Meeting to transact the following business: -
1. Apologies for Absence
2. Declarations of Interests. To declare any ‘personal' or ‘personal and prejudicial' interests relating to items on the agenda having regard to paragraphs 7 to 11 inclusive of Part 2 of the Code of Conduct for Members and having taken appropriate advice (where necessary) before the meeting. (Form available)
3. Public Question Time. A maximum period of 10 minutes to allow members of the public to ask questions or to make statements, and for Councillors with ‘personal' or ‘personal and prejudicial' interests under paragraph 12(2) of the code of conduct for Members to make statements.
4. Presentation by Mr M Jackson - development at Blamsters Farm
5. Minutes. To approve the minutes of the Council meeting held on 20th January 2011.
6. Committee Minutes To accept the minutes of the following committees:
(i) Amenities Committee - 3rd March 2011 - copy previously circulated.
(ii) Finance & General Purposes Committee - 10th March 2011 - copy to be circulated.
7. Planning Applications. Dealt with by the Planning Committee. ALL MEMBERS OF THE COUNCIL ARE MEMBERS OF THE PLANNING COMMITTEE. Chair of Planning - Councillor Mrs S Diver - no planning applications to discuss.
8. Mayors Appointments and Announcements - report available
9. Christmas Office Hours 2011 - report available
10. Library Opening Hours - report available
11. Town Centre Manager - report available
12. Replacement of VW Van - report available
13. Flood Grants - Memorandum sent to all councillors 2/3/11
14. Bands in the Public Gardens (referred from Amenities) - report available
15. Summer Fun 2011 (referred from Amenities) - report available
16. Exclusion of Public and Press.
To give consideration to adopting the following resolution: - "That pursuant to the provisions of section 1(2)-of the Admission to Meetings Act 1960, in view of the next item to be conducted, the press and public to be excluded from the meeting.
