Halstead Town Council provides 2 pay and display public car parks providing parking for more than 150 cars. We also provide 2 car parks for exclusive use of permits only. These car parks are located in Rosemary Lane - 20 spaces and Hedingham Road - 16 spaces. Disabled Blue Badge Holders may park in any Halstead Town Council Pay and Display car park free of charge. Especially wide designated bays are available in some car parks although disabled drivers may use any normal parking bays if desired. Disabled Badges should be displayed at all times.
Charges:
When parking in Chapel St you can claim 1 hour refund when you spend £15 in Sainsbury's, excludes cigarettes, tobacco, stamps, cashback and all lottery and scratchcard purchases.
Parking can also be found in Solar car park - 173 spaces, which entitles people to park 2 hours free of charge and the High Street - 58 spaces, for an hour.
