Members of the Council are requested to attend the above Meeting to transact the following business: -

To consider the following planning applications: -
At a Sub-Committee meeting on 12th February, attended by Cllr Mrs G McCoyd, Cllr Mr C Burne and Cllr T Middleton, Members agreed the following:-
07/00098/FUL - Land in the Ground of Pitchards, Trinity Street, Halstead, Essex - Construction of paved area behind Block A house; amendment of proposed floor levels and ridge level to Block A houses. Members had no comments to make.
07/00149/FUL - 6 Bentall Close, Halstead, Essex, CO9 1RA - Erection of two storey rear extension. Members had no comments to make.
2006/2571/FUL - The Bull Hotel, Bridge Street, Halstead, Essex, CO9 1HU - Timber framed pitched roofed shelter, with integral lighting and heating. Members had no comments to make.

07/00041/FUL - 114 Beech Avenue, Halstead, Essex, CO9 2TR - Erection of single storey side extension and rear conservatory. Members had no comments to make.
07/00024/REM - Former Greenwood School, Mill Chase, Halstead, Essex, CO9 2DQ - Erection of 11 no. residential units comprising 2 no. two bedroom flats, 1 no two bedroom house, 6 no three bedroom houses and 2 no four bedroom houses. Members stated that extra lighting is required along Bois Field Terrace (Section 106 Agreement) and the lighting survey which has already been carried out must be looked at. Bushes should be removed from the site and replaced by trees to screen Bois Field Terrace. Road access to the site should be angled to make it easier to access from Hedingham Road and not from Head Street.
