Members of the Council are requested to attend the above Meeting to transact the following business: -
1. Presentation of Certificate and Photograph in recognition of Terry Middleton's service to the Town Council.
2. Apologies for Absence
3. Welcome to the new Halstead Town Councillor - Cllr Ken Paisley - and appoint to the Amenities Committee.
4. Declarations of Interests. To declare any ‘personal' or ‘personal and prejudicial' interests relating to items on the agenda having regard to paragraphs 7 to 11 inclusive of Part 2 of the Code of Conduct for Members and having taken appropriate advice (where necessary) before the meeting. (Form available)
5. Public Question Time. A maximum period of 10 minutes to allow members of the public to ask questions or to make statements, and for Councillors with ‘personal' or ‘personal and prejudicial' interests under paragraph 12(2) of the code of conduct for Members to make statements.
6. Minutes. To approve the minutes of the Council meeting held on 25th February 2009.
7. Committee Minutes. To accept the minutes of the following committees:
(i) Finance & General Purposes Committee - 9th March 2009 - copy previously circulated.
