Members of the Council are requested to attend the above Meeting to transact the following business: -
1. Apologies for Absence
2. Declarations of Interests. To declare any ‘personal' or ‘personal and prejudicial' interests relating to items on the agenda having regard to paragraphs 7 to 11 inclusive of Part 2 of the Code of Conduct for Members and having taken appropriate advice (where necessary) before the meeting. (Form available)
3. Public Question Time. A maximum period of 10 minutes to allow members of the public to ask questions or to make statements, and for Councillors with ‘personal' or ‘personal and prejudicial' interests under paragraph 12(2) of the code of conduct for Members to make statements.
4. Minutes. To approve the minutes of the Council meeting held on 26th March 2009 and Annual Town Council meeting held on 14th May 2009.
5. Committee Minutes To accept the minutes of the following committees:
(i) Amenities Committee - 14th May 2009 and 14th May (ATCM) - copies previously circulated
(ii) Finance & General Purposes Committee - 14th May 2009 - copy previously circulated and 21st May 2009 - copy to be circulated.
6. Planning Applications. Dealt with by the Planning Committee. ALL MEMBERS OF THE COUNCIL ARE MEMBERS OF THE PLANNING COMMITTEE. Chair of Planning - Councillor Mrs S Diver - report will be issued at meeting if new Planning Applications received.
7. Mayors Appointments and Announcements - report available
8. Youth Initiative - presentation by Cllr Mrs L Hilton
9. Annual Town Council 2010 meeting date - report available
10. Special Projects Priority List - report to follow
11. Resurfacing of area at rear of Day Centre - report to follow
12. Exclusion of Public and Press.
To give consideration to adopting the following resolution: - "That pursuant to the provisions of section 1(2)-of the Admission to Meetings Act 1960, in view of the next item to be conducted, the press and public to be excluded from the meeting.
