SUMMER FUN
Halstead Town Council is pleased to announce some free events for children under 11 during the School Summer Holiday.
Saturday 24th July - Sleak Balloons will be giving away 200 shaped balloons
Saturday 31st July - Nancy and Zoe will be face painting
Saturday 7th August - Nancy and Zoe will be face painting - choose your design!
Saturday 14th August - Fired up Ceramics will be painting plates, mugs, etc.
Saturday 21st August - Fire up Ceramics will be here again; make some good presents!
Saturday 28th August - Sleak Balloons will have another 200 ballons to give away.
All events will be in Weavers' Court, starting at 10a.m.

BLOOD DONOR SESSIONS IN HALSTEAD.
Most people can give blood. If you are generally in good health, age 17-65 (if it's your first time) and weigh at least 7st. 12lb you can donate. You can give blood every 16 weeks, that's approximately every four months.
There are planned donor sessions in Halstead at

Essex Libraries has advised that Halstead Mobile Library will visit Halstead each fortnight on a Thursday beginning on 8th July.
Library will be at Blackthorns Home arriving at 10.55a.m. and leaving at 11.25 a.m. and at Nash Court at 11.35a.m. leaving at 11.55a.m.
Villages served by this mobile library are:
Ashen, The Belchamps, Blackmore End, Bocking, Bradwell, Colne Engaine, Coggeshall, Gestingthorpe, Gosfield, Greenstead Green, Gt. Maplestead, The Hedinghams, Little Yeldham, North End, Ovington, Pebmarsh, Ridgewell, Stisted, Tiblury-juxta-Clare, White Colne and Wickham St. Paul.
